The BlackVLV Story
The original black Volvo was my black 1992 Volvo 245 5-speed. It was my second Volvo ever and a great car. I replaced it with a black 1998 Volvo V70 T5M and then, later, a 1993 245 B230FT T5 that was, you guessed it, black. I have been a Volvo enthusiast for over 20 years and a “parts guy” for nearly 15.
My love of vintage Volvo’s led me to pick’n’pull junkyards and, eventually, an ebay store. I have grown the business for the past decade, always specializing in parts for the 240. In recent years, I also began to source NOS (new-old-stock) parts and now carry a wide range of NOS genuine Volvo and Saab parts. On this site, I stock NEW parts. I research part numbers as best as possible but the listed model and year compatibility is not guaranteed. I can not prevent you from buying a part that is wrong for your car, therefore; the best way to shop this site is to research your parts needs online and identify the part numbers for the part that you need. Then, search this site by part number.
